Ethics In doing Science

What is ethic? What does one mean by saying that hes/shes being ethical? What is an ethical scientist? Ethic, being a subject of interest is a topic that one must view cautiosly. It's about taking ethic in your life, errp..i meant daily life. Is that so hard to be ethical. What are the factors that may limit your ethic? How often did you regard ethic as the way of life?

I took an example of a scientist who is the regulator or releaser of certain agent type of bio-control(BCA). Given the scenario which you have weed (bad type) attacking the crops (of economic important) and the gov has decided to put you on the control team (meaning a lot more stressfull decision). Based on the research, you figured out some type of BCA that could be used against the pest. And from your finding too this BCA has no non-target impact over other native plants, except for the plant from same subfamily, let say Cu1 (again another type of weed), but again, the result show a very minimal impact on Cu1! That sound GOOD ha? Since your BCA might work well in the field and everything look just fine. Meaning that you will go about releasing the BCA. The question is, wilL you release the BCA? Opps.. I should have mention that BCA take any forms; an insect, fungus, pathogen...and etc. So which part do ethic plays the role?

Apparently, ethic is important in Science. Otherwise we will have such freaky-scientists doing creepy experiments. Oh, why do I said so? Guess that y'll know why. Science is comprises of 4 major elements; Math, Bio, Chem and Physic. They give colors to the world. The choice of color is on your hand. If you give white, science will in return be as smooth and usefull and purity. Black? Thats mean disaster and monsterous. So, its about how you perceived ethics as to color in the metaphore of science. Live a good scientist, that you took ethics as a food to your manner!
